Former Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is reportedly moving forward with organizational preparations for his next political step, with plans underway to establish a new political office in central Athens.

According to reports cited by Naftemporiki and broadcaster SKAI, an agreement for the office space has already been finalized, renovation work is underway, and the office is expected to become operational after September 15.

Talks with potential candidates
Reports also indicate that Samaras has reached an agreement with Marios Salmas, who is expected to be included on the electoral list of a potential political initiative led by the former prime minister.

At the same time, discussions are reportedly ongoing with Stanford University professor Ioannidis, while contacts with former Olympic champion and politician Voula Patoulidou are said to have reached an advanced stage.

According to the same reports, Thanasis Skordas is also among the names being considered as Samaras continues consultations ahead of a possible political launch.

The developments have intensified speculation about Samaras' future political plans, although no official announcement regarding a new party or political formation has yet been made.
