Spanish Colors show at Ephesus Opera, Ballet Festival
2nd International Ephesus Opera, Ballet Festival hosted art lovers with Spanish dance, music
The international Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival has staged the Spanish Colors at Turkey's Aegean coastal city Izmir.
The show was staged on Wednesday at the Ephesus Ancient Chamber of Commerce, organized by Culture and Tourism Ministry's State Opera and Ballet general-directorate.
The musical stage show called "zarzuela", created with melodies of Spanish national music, was performed under the direction of Chief Tulio Gagliardo and the stage was managed by Carlos Vilan.
The show was performed by Turkish artists and at the end of the show Turkish and Spanish flags were unfurled.
First held in 2018 with 10,000 art enthusiasts in the western Izmir province, the festival features five events in its second edition this year to appeal to the art aficionados.
Young Opera Stars will be performing on Aug. 31 at the Ephesus Ancient Library of Celsus.
The 2nd International Ephesus Opera and Ballet Festival will end with the premiere of La Traviata opera on Sep. 3.
