Xanthi Turkish Union Youth Branch attended TEKNOFEST
Xanthi Turkish Union Youth Branch (ITB) organized a trip to Istanbul.
Xanthi Turkish Union group visited TEKNOFEST, the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Fair, on Sunday, April 30.
During the tour led by ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, the ITB group; Space, Aviation and Technology Fair TEKNOFEST held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport visited Western Thrace Turks Consultation Association, Topkapı Palace Museum, Zeytinburnu Municipality and Zeytinburnu Ice Island.
The Xanthi Turkish Union group first met the Secretary General of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association (BTTDD), Besim İsmailbaşa, and the President of the Zeytinburnu Branch, Fatih Hacıbedel.
ITB President Ahmetoğlu presented a painting to BTTDD Zeytinburnu Branch President Fatih Hacıbedel in memory of the visit.
ITB team attended the dinner at BTTDD's Zeytinburnu Social Facilities and then visited Zeytinburnu Mayor Ömer Arısoy.
Expressing their pleasure to pay a return visit to the mayor Arısoy, who visited Xanthi Turkish Union in September, ITB President Ozan Ahmetoğlu presented Zeytinburnu Mayor Ömer Arısoy with a painting of the historical Ottoman bridge in Xanthi Memkova village.
Zeytinburnu Mayor Arısoy reminded that many Western Thrace Turks live in their municipality and emphasized that they still remember their visit to Western Thrace.
Xanthi Turkish Union Youth Branch members had a different experience after being hosted on the Istanbul Ice Island.

The group that toured the fair for a long time then left the fairground.
The team of 52 people also visited the Topkapı Palace Museum on the same day.
Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu and ITB Youth Branch members also met with Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association Chairman Hasan Küçük.
While ITB President Ahmetoğlu presented an oil painting of Xanthi Pazaryeri Mosque to BTTDD Chairman Hasan Küçük, Hasan Küçük presented the Atatürk Poems Anthology book to ITB President Ahmetoğlu.
Members of the ITB Youth Branch had the chance to see the natural beauties of Istanbul by participating in the Bosphorus Tour in the same evening.
The young team left Istanbul on Monday, May 1 and returned to Xanthi.
