Will The Kipi Border Crossing be renovated?
Giulekas, who is responsible for the Macedonia-Thrace region, visited the Kipi Border Crossing as part of his itinerary. The visit included a meeting with the Regional Governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Hristodoulos Topsidis.
After the meeting, Topsidis expressed confidence in Minister Giulekas, stating, “I trust Minister Giulekas and believe we will achieve improvements for our region. We owe this to our people because everyone working or living in our region truly loves their homeland.”
Minister Giulekas stated, “According to the schedule, the Kipi Border Crossing will be renovated by Easter. We have seen this, met with the officials, and are here again to see the progress of the work and the current status. I believe that in a few months, the condition of this border crossing will be more humane and more befitting of Greece.”
Giulekas also added that the modernization plans include the Kastanies Border Crossing.
