Western Thrace Turks in the UK gather for festive dinner
The Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association in the UK organized its traditional "Festive Dinner" on March 31, Monday, bringing together the Western Thracian community in London.
The event took place in a local restaurant, where attendees enjoyed a warm and joyful evening, celebrating their shared heritage and strengthening their ties.

In his opening speech, Association President Ercüment Mustafaoğlu extended his best wishes for the holiday and emphasized the importance of such gatherings for the Western Thracian diaspora in the UK.
"Bayram celebrations are a significant way for us to share our joy and reinforce our unity as a community. Living in a multicultural country like the UK, it is essential for our children to understand and preserve their cultural heritage. We are committed to fostering this awareness through such events."
Mustafaoğlu also acknowledged the disruptions caused by the pandemic, stating that the association aims to organize more frequent gatherings in the future to keep the community connected.
