Türkiye exports $2.7 billion to Greece in nine months

Greece has become Türkiye’s third-largest export destination among neighboring countries, with exports reaching $2.7 billion in the first nine months of 2025.
According to data compiled by Anadolu Agency (AA) from the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Turkey’s exports to its neighbors — Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Greece — rose by 3.5% year-on-year in the January–September period, totaling nearly $20.3 billion.
Turkey’s overall exports for the same period increased by 4.1% compared to the previous year, reaching $200.6 billion.
Among neighboring countries, Iraq remained Turkey’s largest export market with $7.4 billion, followed by Bulgaria ($3.4 billion), Greece ($2.7 billion), and Georgia ($1.8 billion).
Greece also recorded the second-highest annual increase in Turkish exports during the January–September period, further strengthening its position as a key regional trading partner.
