The sale of balls inscribed with the Qur'an stopped after the reactions

Football balls with the inscription "Quran" in Arabic, which were put up for sale in a toy store in Xanthi, were stopped from being sold throughout Greece after the reactions.
The sale of soccer balls with the Arabic "Quran" written at the Xanthi branch of Greece's largest toy chain stores caused a reaction among the Muslim Turkish minority.
Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, and his compatriots showed a great reaction to the incident. In addition, a lawyer appointed upon the instruction of Mufti Trampa contacted the store in question, and some of the compatriots from Xanthi contacted the store and demanded that the balls be withdrawn from sale.
Thereupon, the company officials stopped the sale of the balls, taking into account the reactions. In addition, in the statement made by the company on the subject, it was stated that the incident occurred by mistake due to incorrect translation.
