SYRIZA candidate Sokratis Famelos embarks on provincial tour
Sokratis Famelos, a candidate for the leadership of SYRIZA, is visiting several areas in Northern Greece this week. His tour begins today in Alexandroupoli, followed by stops in Rodopi and Kavala on Friday, and concluding with visits to Xanthi and Drama on Saturday.
Today, Famelos will head to the Kipi Border Gate, then proceed to Alexandroupoli where he will meet with SYRIZA members at the party's local branch. He will also engage with residents at a local café.
On Friday, November 1, he will begin his day in Rodopi, meeting with Maronia-Sapes Mayor Apostolos Ioannou at 9:30 a.m. He will then meet with Komotini Mayor Ioannis Garanis, followed by a gathering with supporters at “Nisi” café in the city square. A press conference will conclude his day before traveling to Kavala.
Famelos’s Saturday agenda includes a morning visit to the Xanthi public market, followed by a discussion with locals and supporters at “Kivernio” café. He will then proceed to Drama to continue his engagements with the public.
