İskeçe Turkish Union's centenary honorary council meets
İskeçe Turkish Union (WTTU) convened its 100th Anniversary Honorary Council on the evening of 2 November, bringing together current board members and former presidents to discuss preparations for the association's centenary celebrations.
The meeting was held at the association's premises in İskeçe (Xanthi), hosted by President Kerem Abdurahimoğlu and members of the association's management.
Former presidents Cafer Alioğlu, Adnan Raifoğlu, Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Mehmet Hacıhalil, Ahmet Kara and Ramadan Nizam attended the gathering.
Participants received an overview of the association's ongoing activities and discussed events and initiatives planned to mark the 100th anniversary of its establishment.
During the final part of the meeting, former presidents shared their views, suggestions and recommendations regarding the planned centenary programme.
Representatives thanked the former presidents for attending and contributing their knowledge and experience to the preparations.
