Şahin village holds absentee funeral prayer for Haniyeh

In Şahin village, Xanthi, an absentee funeral prayer was held for Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' Political Bureau, who was assassinated in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
The absentee funeral prayer, led by Xanthi's elected mufti, Mustafa Trampa, took place after the Asr prayer and saw a large turnout.
Meanwhile, a demonstration in response to the Haniyeh assassination took place yesterday in Athens. Hundreds of protesters gathered in Syntagma Square, chanting anti-Israel slogans.
