Rodopi Development Agency hosts workshop on gastronomic tourism
A unique workshop focused on gastronomic tourism will be held by the Rodopi Development Agency as part of the transnational cooperation project “LOCAL TOUR”, implemented under the LEADER Rural Development Programme 2014–2020.
Titled “Local. Authentic. Honest: Destinations with Taste and History,” the event will take place on July 17 and 18, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Rodopi Chamber of Professionals and Craftsmen in Gümülcine (Komotini). The workshop aims to promote honest, high-quality local products as a key tool for enhancing both gastronomic tourism and regional identity.
Who Can Participate
The workshop is open to:
Entrepreneurs and workers in the field of gastronomic tourism
Producers and processors of local products
With priority given to beneficiaries of the Rural Development Programme (RDP)
Participation is free of charge, and only 20 participants will be selected based on an application and evaluation process.
