Prayers held in İskeçe for victims of July 15 coup attempt

Religious ceremonies were held in mosques across İskeçe ahead of Friday prayers to commemorate those killed during the July 15, 2016 coup attempt in Türkiye.
The İskeçe Mufti’s Office organized Quran recitations, prayers, and Mevlid programs as part of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day commemorations.
The main ceremony was held at Çınar Mosque in İskeçe, attended by İskeçe Mufti Mustafa Trampa, Türkiye’s Consul General in Gümülcine Aykut Ünal, members of local institutions, and community representatives.
During the program, prayers were offered for the victims, while participants emphasized the importance of remembering the events of July 15 and passing their memory on to future generations.
