Greek police have identified five men accused of carrying out a series of burglaries in the city of Gümülcine (Komotini) and nearby villages in the Rodopi region, authorities said.
Greek police have identified five men accused of carrying out a series of burglaries in the city of Gümülcine (Komotini) and nearby villages in the Rodopi region, authorities said.
According to police, the suspects allegedly formed a criminal group and used a car stolen from the city of İskeçe (Xanthi) to travel to Rodopi, where they broke into 10 shops and businesses on December 23, 2025. Cash, two mobile phones and a laptop were reported stolen.
A case file has been compiled and will be forwarded to the Rodopi public prosecutor, while the investigation was conducted by the Gümülcine (Komotini) crime investigation unit.
