Italian man found dead in hotel in Gümülcine
The circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, and police have launched an investigation. Authorities have not yet officially announced the cause of death.
ROOMMATE REPORTED INCIDENT TO HOTEL STAFF
According to reports, the man was sharing the hotel room with another individual, reportedly a Romanian national, who informed the hotel reception about the incident. The roommate is alleged to have left the hotel afterwards.
Medical personnel from Greece’s National Emergency Centre (EKAB) were dispatched to the scene following the report. Upon arrival, they reportedly confirmed that the man had died.

It remains unclear why the deceased man and his roommate were staying in Gümülcine.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident. No official statement has yet been released regarding the man's cause of death or the events leading up to it.
