New Regional Police Director for Eastern Macedonia and Thrace: Lambros Tsiaras
As part of the annual evaluations of senior officers in the Hellenic Police (ELAS), the appointment of Lambros Tsiaras as the General Regional Police Director of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace has been announced.
This decision was made by ELAS Chief Lieutenant General Dimitrios Mallios, who oversaw the placement and transfer of 90 Brigadiers during the annual officer reviews.
Lambros Tsiaras: A Seasoned Leader
Originally from Evrytania, Tsiaras previously served as the Police Director of Alexandroupoli. His extensive career includes key positions in Rhodope, such as at the Sapes Police Department, the Komotini Security Division, and as Deputy Police Director of Rhodope.

In a congratulatory statement, the ELAS Officers’ Association of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace expressed confidence in Tsiaras’ leadership:
