İskeçe Mufti Office continues “First Step to Marriage” family education project
The seminar was organized by the Family Unit of the İskeçe Mufti Office and forms part of an ongoing series aimed at supporting individuals and couples as they prepare for marriage and family life.
Building Healthy Family Relationships
In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Köse addressed the fundamental elements of family structure, emphasizing that a healthy marital relationship must be built on compassion, mutual respect and understanding. He stressed that love within the family should be expressed not only through words, but also through everyday actions and behavior.
Highlighting the importance of shared responsibility between spouses, Köse noted that consistency in love and care strengthens trust and emotional security within the family. He underlined that small gestures, daily attention and sensitivity to a partner’s expectations play a crucial role in reinforcing marital bonds.
Rights, Responsibilities and Cooperation
The seminar also addressed the balance between rights and responsibilities within marriage. Köse warned that while awareness of individual rights is important, neglecting responsibilities can weaken the family structure.
He described women and men as having complementary roles within the family, stressing that cooperation and mutual understanding are essential foundations of a stable and harmonious family life.
The Role of Parents in Child Development
Prof. Dr. Köse also focused on child development, particularly the importance of healthy parent-child relationships during early childhood. He explained that strong emotional bonds with both parents during this critical period have a lasting impact on an individual’s future life.
According to Köse, the absence of maternal affection or paternal involvement can contribute to broader social problems, highlighting the family’s central role in social cohesion and well-being.
The “First Step to Marriage” project continues to attract strong interest, reflecting the growing demand for structured family education and guidance within the local community.
