Eastern Macedonia–Thrace Secretary General Galamatis visits Yassıköy Municipality
Focus on Strengthening Local Governance and Public Services
The Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Dimitris Galamatis, paid an official visit to Iasmos Municipality, where he was received by Mayor Caner Imam at the municipal headquarters.
According to a statement released by the municipality, the newly appointed Secretary General of the Macedonia–Thrace Decentralized Administration, Dimitrios Galamatis, was welcomed on Tuesday, February 3, by Mayor Caner Imam.
During the meeting, discussions focused on issues affecting local authorities, as well as ways to enhance the efficiency and quality of public services provided to the local community. Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation between central administration and local government in addressing regional needs and improving everyday life for citizens.
The visit forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination between state institutions and municipalities across Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
