High fire risk in Rhodope Province

According to the Fire Risk Forecast Map published by the General Secretariat of Civil Defence of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Defence, the province of Rhodope is among the regions with high fire risk tomorrow (Friday, 28 June). In the region, where the fire risk category is 3, citizens are advised to be careful and follow the instructions of the authorities.
In case of fire, citizens were asked to call the 199 or 112 call centre and provide clear information about the location of the fire.
The General Secretariat of Civil Defence asked citizens to be especially careful and advised them to avoid actions that may cause fire as a result of negligence such as burning dry grass and branches in rural areas, using sparking machines, lighting barbecues outdoors, throwing burning cigarettes.
It was also reminded that it is forbidden to burn stubble in the fields during the fire season.
