During the opening ceremony held at Saime Toptan Social Sciences High School, the school's principal, Ömer Yılmaz, highlighted the importance of Erasmus partnerships, emphasizing the significant educational benefits of international cooperation.

Throughout their visit, the Greek students and teachers observed classes and participated in presentations and workshops focusing on the theme of "self-sustaining cities." Various activities, including traditional games and meals showcasing local cuisine, were also part of the experience.

Due to two days of school closures caused by adverse weather, the visitors had the opportunity to explore the cultural and historical landmarks of the region, including the Long Mehmet Mosque, the Mining Museum, Amasra, and Safranbolu.

At the conclusion of the visit, a certificate ceremony was held at the Saime Toptan Social Sciences High School's Conference Hall. Gifts prepared by the Zonguldak Geopark, the Provincial Directorate of Culture, and the Parent-Teacher Association were presented to the guests by Principal Yılmaz.

On the third day of the visit, Zonguldak's Provincial Director of National Education, Osman Bozkan, welcomed the Greek delegation and presented them with a miner's statue, symbolizing the city, along with other gifts. Bozkan expressed that such international projects play a vital role in strengthening ties between nations and fostering peace and friendship.

After completing the five-day program, the Greek students and teachers bid farewell to Zonguldak.
