GAT provides school supplies to children in need
The Young Academics Association (GAT), operating under the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, has provided school supplies to children in need as part of its “12 Months, 12 Happiness” project.
The initiative distributed various educational materials, including pens, notebooks and school bags, to children ahead of the new academic year. The project aims to support children in need as they prepare to return to school.
In a statement, GAT said the smiles on the children's faces once again demonstrated the importance of the initiative and thanked everyone who contributed to the project.
The association also noted that contributions came from different parts of Western Thrace, from İskeçe to Gümülcine. It emphasized that everyone who supported the initiative, whether with a pen, notebook or school bag, became part of the happiness created by the project.
“There are no limits, distances or sizes to kindness. Every step we take together brings hope and happiness into a child's life,” GAT said.
The initiative highlights the role of community-based solidarity in supporting children and helping families prepare for the new school year.
