First aid seminar held in Büyük Sirkeli
On Wednesday, 19 November 2025, a highly successful First Aid Seminar took place in the Municipal Council Hall of the Municipality of Kozlukebir in Büyük Sirkeli. The event aimed to inform and train citizens in essential first aid knowledge and techniques. The initiative was carried out in cooperation with the Hellenic Red Cross – Gümülcine Regional Department, with the participation of the Municipality’s Community Center.
Participants had the opportunity to learn critical techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), management of choking, bleeding control, fainting episodes, and other emergency situations that can occur in everyday life.
Mayor Chousein Erdem: “We will continue to invest in prevention and education”
This seminar was the second First Aid–related action organized in the Municipality of Kozlukebir during the month of November, reaffirming the municipal authority’s strong commitment to prevention, public awareness, and strengthening the local community.
Mayor Chousein Erdem highlighted the importance of citizen training, stating:
“First Aid knowledge is a valuable tool that can save lives. We are especially pleased that more and more of our citizens participate in such initiatives, showing interest not only in their personal development but also in the safety of our community. We warmly thank the Hellenic Red Cross and the Community Center for their cooperation. We will continue investing in prevention and educational actions so that the Municipality of Kozlukebir remains an informed community, ready to respond to every need.”
