Another aid campaign for Ukraine from Komotini Municipality
The Municipality of Komotini, the Metropolitan of Maronya and Komotini and the Rhodopi Pharmacists Association are launching the second aid campaign for the victims of war in Ukraine.
In the written statement made by the Municipality of Komotini on the subject, it was stated that a second campaign would be launched after the campaign carried out in the past weeks for the people of Ukraine, who are in a difficult situation due to the war.
In the statement, it was noted that the collection of basic needs materials will begin and citizens who want to contribute to the aid package are welcomed.
It has been announced that cooperation with the Consulate General of Ukraine in Thessaloniki continues.
Aid materials and basic needs products will be gathered at the Komotini Municipality Multi-Purpose Cultural Center at Maraslı 1 next to the Public Market in Komotini, between 08.00 - 14.00 on April 26-30. Contact phone 2531 0 83344.
The materials and products to be collected within the framework of the campaign are as follows:
- Medicines (Bandage, first aid kits, painkillers, antipyretics, cough syrups, Betadine, gauze)
- Long-term foods (Canned, Spaghetti, Flour, Rice, Sugar, Coffee, Legumes, Biscuits)
- Baby clothes, diapers, wet wipes.
- Diapers for adults.
Aid materials to be collected by citizens, associations and organizations will be sent to the Consulate General of Ukraine in Thessaloniki to be delivered to Ukraine.
