Aid campaign for earthquake victims from Xanthi Municipality
Xanthi Municipality launched an aid campaign for earthquake victims in Türkiye and Syria. The statement on the subject was made by the Mayor of Xanthi, Manolis Tsepelis.
In his statement, Tsepelis conveyed his best wishes to those who suffered from the earthquake and announced that they started a humanitarian aid campaign as a municipality. Noting that the campaign will be coordinated by the Xanthi Municipality, Social Assistance and Solidarity Center and Home Aid Program, Tsepelis stated that aid will be collected for people who were damaged by the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria.
The aid materials to be collected are as follows: Canned food, biscuits, nuts, baby food, long-lasting milk, baby diapers, wet wipes, cleaning materials, medicine, tissue paper, personal cleaning products.
The points where aid will be collected are as follows: Xanthi KAPI, Home Aid Program Bureau. It was stated that the aid can be delivered to the points in question between 08:00 and 18:00.
On the other hand, it was learned that an aid campaign was started with the organization of four metropolitan cities in Western Thrace.
