YTB launches ‘Turkish Language Awards’ competition
The competition invites participants to submit works in categories such as Best Work, Essay, Short Story, Poetry, and Children's Literature.
This initiative encourages Turkish citizens living abroad, as well as individuals from related communities and international students, to think, write, and produce literary works in Turkish.
For the first time, submissions from the Turkish diaspora, related communities, and international students will be accepted together. The competition will evaluate entries in five categories: Best Work, Essay, Short Story, Poetry, and Children's Literature.
A panel of qualified judges will assess the entries based on criteria such as the correct and effective use of Turkish, adherence to grammar and spelling rules, alignment with the technical requirements of the category, originality, and style.
Awards
Winners in each group and category will receive a first-place prize and the opportunity to participate in the "International Young Writers Academy."

Judging Period: September 22 - October 9, 2024
Announcement of Winners: October 10, 2024
Award Ceremony: Location and date to be announced later
