Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros performs in Ankara, hints at future collaborations with Turkish artists

Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros performed for music lovers in the Turkish capital Ankara on Wednesday, treating audiences to some of his most popular songs at a concert held at ATO Congresium.

The concert was organized through a collaboration between Epifoni and Sinkron Management.

Speaking to Anadolu before the performance, Argiros said he had always received a warm welcome in Türkiye.

“Every time I come to Türkiye, I am greeted with tremendous love. I would like to thank Turkish music lovers for that,” he said.

Recalling his joint concert with Turkish singer Sila, Argiros said he was open to further collaborations with Turkish musicians, including the possibility of releasing another song with Sila.

“I love Turkish music. I have been listening to it and following it closely since childhood,” he said, adding that he would begin working on new projects and songs after returning to Athens.

Argiros also highlighted the musical similarities between Türkiye and Greece, saying both countries share traditional melodies and musical influences rooted in their cultural heritage.

He said he enjoys exploring traditional music and blending old melodies with the energy of modern sounds.

Expressing his admiration for Turkish musicians, Argiros singled out Ibrahim Tatlises, saying he was particularly impressed by his voice and musical performances.
