It is reported that 9 people were detained in the incidents that broke out between the police and the protesters during the demonstration organised in Thessaloniki last night due to the killing of a young man by the police in the Viotia region of Greece.

A group of about 50 people wearing masks attacked the police with stones and Molotov cocktails.

After the police responded with tear gas, 9 people were detained.

On Sunday night, 12 November, a 17-year-old driver, who ran away by disobeying the "stop" warning of the police, was stopped after a while as a result of the pursuit.

During the police check, the driver of the vehicle was shot with a police bullet for an undetermined reason and died at Thiva Hospital.
