The platform for free travel in Europe is now open: Who is eligible – How to apply

The application platform for the European Union’s DiscoverEU April 2025 travel pass opened on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Brussels time) and will remain open until April 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Brussels time).
To be eligible, you must:
- Have been born between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007,
- Provide a valid ID card, passport, or residence permit number in the application form,
- Be a citizen or legal resident of:
- One of the EU member states (including Overseas Countries and Territories – OCTs), or
- A third country associated with the Erasmus+ program: North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, or Türkiye.
- After that, you will need to complete a quiz (unless you apply as part of a group).
If selected, you can travel for a duration between 1 and 30 days, anytime between July 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026.
