Greece opens applications for Tourism for All 2026–2027 program

The application platform for Greece’s “Tourism for All 2026–2027” program has officially opened, offering citizens financial assistance to support domestic holidays and boost tourism activity across the country.

Applications are being accepted gradually based on the final digit of applicants’ tax identification numbers (AFM). On the first day, citizens whose AFM numbers end in 1 or 2 can submit their applications. All eligible citizens will be able to apply between August 10 and August 21, 2026.

Applications can also be submitted in person through Citizen Service Centers (KEP) across Greece.

Financial support ranges from €200 to €600

Under the program, beneficiaries will receive financial support ranging from €200 to €600 depending on income level, family status, social criteria and the period chosen for their holiday.

Authorities aim to encourage tourism during the low season between October and April. Citizens who choose to travel during this period will receive higher levels of support, with approximately 70% of the program’s budget allocated for reservations during the off-season.

The initiative aims to strengthen winter tourism and support destinations that receive fewer visitors outside the peak holiday months.

Income limits expanded

The new edition of the program has increased income thresholds in order to allow more citizens to participate.

The annual income limit has been raised:
- From €19,000 to €21,000 for single individuals without children.
- From €31,000 to €33,000 for married couples without children.
- Up to €58,000 for families with children, depending on family size.

Additional benefits for disabled people and large families

The 2026–2027 edition introduces expanded social support measures.

Individuals with at least 67% disability, as well as families with children with disabilities, will be able to apply without being subject to income criteria for the first time.

Large families will also receive additional support, with an extra €50 payment provided for each child from the fourth child onward.

Program to be implemented in two phases

The “Tourism for All 2026–2027” initiative will be carried out in two stages.

The first phase will continue until June 30, 2027. The second phase will begin later in 2027 and run until December 31, 2027.

No new lottery will be held for the second phase. Instead, additional beneficiaries will be selected from applicants who applied during the first period but were not initially chosen.

Through the expanded program, Greek authorities aim to increase access to tourism opportunities while supporting domestic travel and regional economies.
