Shipping and Island Policy Minister Christos Stylianides is to visit Ankara on Wednesday (today) and meet with Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.
Shipping and Island Policy Minister Christos Stylianides is to visit Ankara on Wednesday and meet with Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.
The talks are expected to focus on migration.
Specifically, in meetings on Thursday, the promotion of Greek-Turkish cooperation regarding migration via the sea will be examined, following up the 5th Greece-Turkiye High-level Cooperation Council.
The Greek minister will be accompanied by the chief of the Coast Guard, Vice Admiral Georgios Alexandrakis, and other Coast Guard officers.
