New cabinet announced in Greece

The new cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who was re-elected prime minister with a large margin in the elections held yesterday in Greece, was announced after he was sworn in today. New Government Spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis shared Mitsotakis' new cabinet with the public. Former Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias was appointed as the Minister of Defence, former Foreign Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis was appointed as the Minister of Education, Giorgios Gerapetritis, a close friend of Mitsotakis, was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kostis Hatzidakis was appointed as the Minister of Finance, former Minister of Education Niki Kerameus was appointed as the Minister of Interior, Yorgos Floridis was appointed as the Minister of Justice and former Minister of Interior Makis Voridis was appointed as the Minister of State.

Michalis Chrysochoidis was appointed as Minister of Health, Theodoros Skylakakakis as Minister of Energy and Environment, Lina Mendoni as Minister of Culture, Lefteris Avgenakis as Minister of Agriculture, Olga Kefalogianni as Minister of Tourism, Christos Staikouras as Minister of Infrastructure and Transport and Dimitris Keridis as Minister of Migration.
