Metron Analysis Poll: ND leads PASOK by 8.2 points; Sokratis Famellos most popular leader
The latest Metron Analysis poll for Mega reveals significant shifts in Greece's political landscape, with a narrowing gap between New Democracy (ND) and PASOK and Sokratis Famellos emerging as the most popular political leader.
Voting Intentions
ND maintains its lead in vote estimates with 28.2%, showing a slight decrease of 0.9% from the previous month. PASOK follows at 18.8%, also down by 1%. The Greek Solution Party rises to 10.1% (from 9%), closely trailed by the Communist Party (KKE) at 10% (up from 8.9%). SYRIZA drops significantly to 7.1% (from 8.7%), while the newly-formed Democracy Movement of Stefanos Kasselakis garners 2.3%.
In voting intentions, ND records 22.6%, PASOK 15.1%, Greek Solution 8.1%, KKE 8%, and SYRIZA below 7%.
Leader Popularity
Sokratis Famellos, leader of SYRIZA-PS, surprises by leading in popularity with 47% positive ratings, followed by PASOK’s Nikos Androulakis (43%) and KKE’s Dimitris Koutsoumbas (41%). Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Zoe Konstantopoulou are tied at 37%.
Prime Minister Preference
For the position of prime minister, "no one" leads with 34%, followed by Mitsotakis at 30% and Androulakis at 8%, reflecting public discontent with current leadership options.
