EODY warns elderly and at-risk groups against increasing Covid-19 cases
The Greek National Public Health Authority warned the elderly and at-risk groups to be careful and take the necessary measures against the increasing Covid-19 cases in the country.
In the weekly report published by EODY, information about Covid-19 cases recorded on 1-7 July was shared. In the report, which stated that 21 people died due to Covid-19 in 7 days, it was stated that 575 people who contracted this disease were treated in hospitals in the first week of July. In the report, "It was determined that hospital admissions increased due to the virus (Covid-19) being more active. We advise the elderly and at-risk groups to be careful about respiratory infections and to consult a doctor immediately if they see symptoms of (Covid-19). We call on the general population to limit close contact with risk groups."
