Civil Protection urges citizens to be careful ahead of severe weather phenomena

Citizens are advised to be particularly careful, taking measures to protect themselves from risks arising from severe weather phenomena, the general secretariat of Civil Protection said on Monday in view of the deterioration of the weather.
On Sunday, an urgent teleconference was held for the imminent change of weather and the adverse weather condition expected. The meeting was chaired by Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Vassilis Kikilias with the participation of the police, the fire brigade, the regional governors and the National Meteorological Service.
