The number of registered unemployed in Greece fell to 915,889 in December 2025, down 6.3% from a year earlier, according to data from the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

The figure was 61,798 lower than in December 2024, though it rose by 2.4% compared with November.
Long-term unemployed, registered for 12 months or more, accounted for 45.6% of the total, while 54.4% had been unemployed for less than a year.
Women made up nearly two-thirds of registered jobseekers, while the 30–44 age group recorded the highest number of unemployed.
By region, Attica and Central Macedonia reported the largest concentrations of registered unemployment.
