The rankings, based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), show significant shifts — including the U.S. passport dropping out of the top 10 for the first time.
Asia continues to lead, with Singapore holding the top spot, offering visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 193 countries. South Korea follows with 190 destinations, while Japan ranks third with 189.
Greece ranks 6th, slightly down from its previous 5th-place position in July, with its passport granting access to 186 countries without a prior visa. It shares this spot with Hungary, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, and Sweden — highlighting strong European representation in the top ranks.
