Turkish President Erdoğan received the Western Thrace Turkish Delegation
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the Advisory Board Members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority at the Turkish Embassy in Athens.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Turkey's Embassy in Athens in Greece, where he was for the fifth meeting of the Türkiye-Greece High Level Cooperation Council.
After receiving Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and having a working dinner, Erdoğan went to the Ambassador Residence.
President Erdoğan received the members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board here. During the meeting, the symbol name of the Western Thrace, Dr. Sadık Ahmet's family was also present. Erdoğan also met with Byron Nicolaides, President of the European Technology Council.
On his arrival at the Ambassador Residence, Erdoğan also chatted with Panathinaikos Head Coach Ergin Ataman for a while.
At the embassy meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Transport were also present.
Minister of Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Athens Çağatay Erciyes and Türkiye's Consul General in Komotini Aykut Ünal also attended the meeting.
