Turkish Parliament Speaker Kurtulmuş pays tribute to Dr. Sadık Ahmet on 30th anniversary of his passing
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), Numan Kurtulmuş, honored the memory of Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the late leader of the Western Thrace Turkish community, on the 30th anniversary of his passing.
In a message shared on social media, Kurtulmuş expressed deep respect for Dr. Ahmet’s legacy:
"I respectfully and mercifully commemorate Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the unforgettable leader of the Western Thrace Turks, on the anniversary of his death. We will continue to stand by our kinsmen in the just cause he championed and will resolutely defend their rights and freedoms with the same conviction. May his soul rest in peace."
