Traditional iftar meeting of Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform
The traditional iftar dinner of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform took place in Xanthi on 27 March Wednesday.
Among the participants of the traditional iftar dinner of the Women's Platform were İlayda Ünal, the wife of the Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini Aykut Ünal, the wives and executives of the heads of minority organisations.
The handover of the spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform also took place during the iftar programme.
The new spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform is Sibel Abdullah Hasan, President of WTMGA Women's Section.
The following statements were made on the social media account of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform regarding the iftar programme:
"As Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform, we organised our traditional iftar dinner also this year. At the same time, the handover of the platform spokesmanship took place. The new spokesperson of the Western Thrace Turkish Women's Platform was handed over to Mrs Sibel Abdullah Hasan, President of the Women's Section of Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association. We wish her success in her new duty. We would like to thank Mrs İlayda Ünal, wife of the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Komotini, and the wives of the heads of institutions and organisations who did not leave us alone once again this evening."
