“The questions I submitted were not taken into account by the authorized Minister”
Xanthi KINAL Party Deputy Burhan Baran stated that the relevant Ministry did not consider the parliamentary questions submitted to the Mustafçova (Miki) Municipality regarding the establishment of a fire department.
Publishing a statement on the subject, MP Baran said:
“Unfortunately, the questions I submitted to the parliament on (29/01/2021 and 21/06/2022) regarding the establishment of the Fire Brigade Unit in the Municipality of Mustafçova (Miki) were not taken into account by the authorized Minister.
The fire that broke out in the restaurant-café in the region in the past days has caused great damage.
The reason for this is that the fire brigade team loses time to reach the fire place on time from the nearest fire department, due to the distance and the narrow and curvy road.
Of course, the important thing is that there is no loss of life, but it is very sad that the efforts of one of our compatriots have gone to waste.
The state should take its responsibility for the protection of the lives and properties of our society living in the area, and take serious decisions as soon as possible about the establishment of the Fire Brigade Unit, which is of vital importance in the region.”
