Ex politician Ahmet Kuşçu passed away
Ahmet Kuşçu from Şahin (Echinos), who held various positions in Mustafçova (Miki) Municipality, including Deputy Mayor, passed away in the state hospital of Xanthi where he was being treated.
Ahmet Kuşçu's death news was announced on social media by his son Ergül Kuşçu, who also served as the Deputy Mayor of Mustafçova (Miki) Municipality in the past and was the president of Şahinspor FC for many years.
Ergül Kuşçu made the following post on the occasion of his father's death:
"My valuable teacher and supporter, my father Ahmet Kuşçu, who always strived for his nation and never compromised his honesty, has passed away. May his soul rest in peace and his place be in heaven. His funeral will be buried in Şahin Cemetery tomorrow (today 14.02.2024) after the afternoon (Asr) prayer."
