Cemil Kabza, president of the PEOPLE'S MOVEMENT, who was excluded from the second round with a narrow vote difference in the municipal elections held on Sunday, October 8, published a message congratulating Ahmet Kurt, who won the second round elections held on Sunday, October 15.
Cemil Kabza shared the following on his personal social media account on Sunday evening, October 15, after the second round election results were announced:
“I congratulate Ahmet Kurt, who won the second round of elections held on Sunday, October 15th and was elected Mayor of Mustafçova, and wish him success in his new position.

Ahmet Kurt, who will take over from the current mayor Rıdvan Delihüseyin on January 1, 2024, became the new mayor of Mustafçova Municipality by receiving 6,009 (55.99 percent) of the 10,732 valid votes cast in the second round elections.
Rıdvan Delihüseyin came in second with 4,723 votes (44.01 percent).
