Mustafçova Mayor Ahmet Kurt meets regional governor Christodoulos Topsidis to discuss development priorities
The meeting took place at the regional governor’s office in Gümülcine and focused on ongoing infrastructure and local development initiatives affecting the Mustafçova region.
Following the talks, Mayor Kurt described the meeting as part of routine institutional consultations and stated that he provided a comprehensive briefing on projects currently being implemented by the municipality.
According to Kurt, discussions also addressed ways to reduce existing regional challenges, improve residents’ quality of life, and strengthen cooperation between local and regional authorities in line with the needs of the population.
Mayor Kurt thanked Governor Topsidis for his constructive approach and continued support for both the municipality and local residents, emphasizing that sustained dialogue and cooperation would contribute positively to the region’s long-term development.
Highlighting his administration’s service-oriented approach, Kurt stated that the municipality aims to deliver “substantive rather than symbolic service” to citizens throughout its term in office. He reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to working toward the development, prosperity, and future of the Mustafçova region.
