Şükran Raif’s book “On Theatre” published in two languages

The book “On Theatre” written by Şükran Raif, director of the TOÇEK Theatre Group, has been published in both Turkish and Greek by the Western Thrace Minority Culture and Education Company (BAKEŞ).
On social media, Raif shared her thoughts on the publication: “With the aim of reflecting the history of Turkish minority theatre in Western Thrace, and conveying what has existed in the realm of theatre from past to present for readers, as well as passing it on to future generations, I wrote ‘On Theatre’. I am grateful to BAKEŞ for publishing the book in both Turkish and Greek. I would like to sincerely thank all the individuals, institutions, and organizations who contributed and supported the publication.”
The bilingual edition aims to reach a wider audience, celebrating and preserving the history and significance of theatre in the Turkish minority of Western Thrace.
