Statement by Topsidis on the grant for substations to be built in industrial zones

The President of the State of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Christodoulos Topsidis, made a statement regarding the granting of projects for the construction of substations for the generation of electricity in industrial areas.
Expressing his satisfaction with the subsidisation of substation construction projects in industrial areas by the Greek Electricity Distribution Network Operator (ΔΕΔΔΗΕ), Topsidis said:
"The decision signed by the Deputy Minister of Development Anna Mani-Papadimitriou to give the green light to the implementation of projects with a budget of 13.11 million euros in industrial areas, to be implemented by the Greek Electricity Distribution Network Operator, which is part of the Recovery and Resilience Fund, in order to increase energy efficiency, is an important development for the strengthening of the Greek region."
Stating that four of the substations to be built in 9 different regions across the country will be built in the industrial zones of Komotini, Xanthi, Kavala in the Province of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and in the borders of the district of Şapçı, Topsidis said, "This development constitutes a step towards strengthening industrial production in the context of the "green" and digital transition of industry, which is a priority goal for our administration."
