Sevgi Sezai appointed new spokesperson of Western Thrace Turkish Women’s platform
The decision was announced during a meeting organized at the premises of the Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union on the evening of March 24. The event brought together members of the platform and representatives from the local Turkish minority community in Western Thrace.
Sezai, who also serves as head of the women’s branch of the İskeçe Turkish Union, officially took over the role from Gülsüm Hüseyin, Vice President of the women’s branch of the Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union. Hüseyin was presented with a plaque in recognition of her contributions during her term.
Emphasis on Teamwork and Continuity
Among the attendees was İlayda Ünal, spouse of Aykut Ünal, who delivered a brief address emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration. She extended her best wishes to the platform members for the new term.
As part of the program, participants were also presented with a summary report outlining the platform’s recent activities and initiatives.
