Region Governor Topsidis visits flood-affected areas
Accompanied by Deputy Regional Civil Protection Director Kostas Venetidis, Deputy Regional Governor Nikos Evkarpidis, Director of Technical Services, and Civil Protection officials, Topsidis visited the villages of Narliköy and Kozdere, both within the Yassiköy Municipality. Yassiköy Mayor Caner Imam also joined the inspection tour.
Following the assessment of the flood-affected areas, Governor Topsidis and his team held a meeting with Mayor Imam to discuss the necessary emergency measures. The Governor stated that a detailed plan had been formulated to ensure swift recovery and the repair of damages. He further noted that the regional authorities had outlined their responsibilities within the scope of the recovery efforts.
These emergency actions are expected to be implemented as soon as possible to aid the affected communities.
