Public market to be held on Friday!
It has been announced that the Xanthi public market will be held on Friday, March 24, as Saturday, March 25, is a public holiday in Greece.
In the statement made by the Municipality of Xanthi, it was stated that the public market will take place on Friday, March 24, due to the fact that 25 March is a public holiday throughout the country.
In the municipality's statement about the public market, it was noted that the said day change was made in line with the 1st article of the public market statute and the municipal council decision numbered 47-2023.
In the statement, "Due to the 25 March 1821 National Holiday and on the grounds that it will be a public holiday in Greece, it was decided to hold the public market one day before, on Friday, March 24." it was said.
