Office space granted to "EPANODOS" by Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region

The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (REMTH) has approved the allocation of an office space on the first floor of the Rodopi Regional Unit building to the General Secretariat for Anti-Crime Policy of the Ministry of Citizen Protection. The office will serve as the base for the Komotini branch of "EPANODOS," a Legal Entity of Private Law (LEPL) that operates under the ministry and is the only organization in Greece offering counseling and educational services to ex-prisoners.
The decision, made by the Regional Committee of REMTH, allows the use of the office for a period of five years. This move supports the broader mission of "EPANODOS," which aims to assist with vocational training, rehabilitation, financial support, and the overall social reintegration of current and former inmates.
The Komotini branch is among eight established across the country, in cities such as Thessaloniki, Chania, Patras, Chalkida, Amfissa, Kos, and Volos. Upon its launch, the Komotini office will be staffed with one expert in social or humanities studies and one administrative employee.
All maintenance costs for the premises will be covered by the General Secretariat for Anti-Crime Policy.
