MP Ferhat attends 4th Army Corps Handover Ceremony
Rodopi MP Özgür Ferhat attended the handover ceremony of the 4th Army Corps, held today (Wednesday, January 15) at the “Emmanuil Apostolidis” barracks in Xanthi.
In a written statement, MP Ferhat remarked:
“During the ceremony, Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos successfully handed over the command of the 4th Army Corps to Lieutenant General Panagiotis Kavidopoulos. Lieutenant General Papastathopoulos was appointed Commander of the 1st Army and received best wishes for success in his new role.”
MP Ferhat expressed gratitude for the invitation to the ceremony and extended his wishes for success to the incoming commander.
The MP also held an official consultation with Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, and thanked him for the engagement.
