Macedonia Thrace Muslims Education and Culture Association pays visits to muftis
The executives of the Macedonian Thrace Muslims Education and Culture Association in Thessaloniki visited Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi and İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini.
On Saturday 20 April, the delegation first visited Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi and on the same day also visited İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini.
The following statement was made by the association on social media regarding the visits:
"As the Macedonian Muslims of Thrace Education and Culture Association, today we paid a courtesy visit to Mr Mustafa Trampa, elected Mufti of Xanthi and Mr İbrahim Şerif, President of the Western Thrace Minority Advisory Board, elected Mufti of Komotini. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for hosting us in the most beautiful way."
Regarding the visit, Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, said: "The board of directors of the Thessaloniki Association and the religious officer Cemali İhtiyar paid a courtesy visit to our Mufti's Office today. I wish them success."
İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini, said on social media: "A group of the President and board members of the Thessaloniki Macedonia-Thrace Muslims Cultural Association visited us within the framework of their visit to Western Thrace. We exchanged information with them. We thanked them for their visit."
